Blizzard President Johanna Faries in an email sent to employees seen by Windows Central revealed the first-party Xbox developer is the top performing studio at Xbox.

"In FY26 Blizzard ended the year as the top-performing studio in Xbox's studios division, and this past year has marked our third highest fiscal for top line revenue in Blizzard's history," said Faries.

Fiscal year 2026 is the first year Blizzard has seen growth in consecutive quarters since Overwatch launched in 2016.

"Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred and Overwatch drove exceptional performance in particular, with Overwatch delivering its strongest quarter since 2022," she said. This success will help them invest more in Blizzard games, employees, and other initiatives that will "shape Blizzard's future."

Faries on BlizzCon 2026, which will take place on September 12 and 13 in Anaheim, California said "the weekend will reflect the bold and collaborative work of everyone reading this. It's my hope that the event can shine a light on the work underway at Blizzard, and that it can serve as a powerful springboard into a new era of momentum and excitement behind our mission to bring joy and belonging for communities worldwide."
