I remember seeing a TikTok where some girl was at a birthday party(?) going around interviewing people wrt meds and everyone was on like 2-6 things. It’s bleak.

That's crazy. It's endemic in America, unfortunately.

They each shared their dosages and different medications.

"I don't suppose you take anything other than food eh" https://t.co/3AjE5zPCC8

When I lived in America a girl looked at me in complete horror when I told her I wasn't on any meds. She couldn't believe it https://t.co/dExkBkOi7E

Crazy to consider until the last decade or so, most people were not on any psychiatric medications.

Ativan is CRAZY, it can increase your risk of socialite. This family is NOT OK.

A solid 70-80% of the women I know are on SSRIs. That's also true of my female patients, SSRIs are almost as common as statins and a bit more common than ACE inhibitors. I've also noticed that psychiatric polypharm is FAR more common in female than male patients, excluding people…

I think it’s a combination of women’s deference to authority and their inability to parse their emotions and life experiences. They love therapy-speak: pathologizing normal human experience while treating pathology as normal, or at least inevitable.

Also, women were created to be loving and nurturing. The world is forcing women to be 'boss babes' and it's making so many miserable.

The only one not morbidly obese and deeply empty looking is the one on adderall lmao

There is more to life than making money, working and sleeping with various men.

It's funny how people think taking a pill to treat the symptom is better than fixing the problem.Accountability & Discipline & Consistency is all they need.
