Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty sale is officially back and, as a beauty writer, I’m stocking up my cart ASAP. From now through September 17, you can save 50 percent on popular beauty items from some of my favorite brands, including Cecred, Clinique, Supergoop and Farmacy, along with extra perks like free shipping for Ulta Beauty Rewards members.

I’ve been covering this sale for years, and as a result, I’ve become an expert in the best deals to shop. Check out my tried and true picks below, along with bestsellers that will likely sell out during the sale.

This viral lip balm has an emollient-rich formula that helps to soften lips and lock in moisture, according to the brand. It has a sheer, slightly shiny finish, and is available in three shades (including the very popular Black Honey).

You can use these under-eye patches to soothe and cool puffy and tired under eyes. They’re soaked in bakuchiol, a retinol alternative that smooths fine lines, along with a peptide blend that helps to firm your skin, according to the brand.

This hair oil from Cecred (one of my favorite hair care brands at the moment) has 13 oils, including an African oil blend of baobab, moringa and black seed oil for shine and elasticity, according to the brand. It has keratin to help reduce breakage, and it’s great for addressing dryness and dullness after styling.

First Aid Beauty is a longtime favorite of our NBC Selected editors, and this cleanser’s gentle formula is ideal for sensitive skin. It has aloe to help soothe skin and glycerin to keep skin hydrated, according to the brand.

I tried one of Lancome’s foundations last summer, and it had one of the smoothest finishes I’d ever seen. It has a buildable, medium-to-full coverage with a soft matte finish that lasts all day, according to our editors. It also won’t pill or flake off with sweat and humidity, so it’s perfect for these last days of summer).

A good detangling spray is a must in my wash day routine. This Amika spray is ideal for prepping your hair before styling it with hot tools because it has heat protection up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It also has avocado and sea buckthorn oil to strengthen and hydrate hair, according to the brand.

Supergoop is one of our favorite brands when it comes to sun care, and this mineral sunscreen has a subtle, glowy finish that’s ideal for these last few weeks of summer sun. It’s safe for all skin types and is available in three shades, according to the brand.

This dry shampoo helps hair look, feel and smell clean between washes with no visible residue, according to the brand. It also helps to condition hair for added softness and shine, so you can go a little longer before your next shampoo.

This shampoo is one of my favorites to use when taking down braids or heat styling my hair because it cleanses without stripping away moisture. The formula has panthenol to retain moisture, along with B vitamins to help repair spilt ends and heat damage, according to the brand.

If you have very dry skin, this medicated cream may be just what you need to help transition into fall. It’s fragrance-free and includes micro colloidal compounds that form a protective film over the skin to help reduce redness, dryness and flakiness, according to the brand.

When it comes to beauty brands, OPI is a classic. This nail polish is a longtime staple for at-home manicurists and nail salons alike. It lasts for up to seven days with a glossy, high-shine finish.

We chose these as our favorite self-tanning drops for their buildable formula and inclusive shade range. The formula is also sensitive-skin friendly, and includes vitamin E and aloe vera to help soothe skin, according to the brand.
