Developer Kinmoku, the award-winning studio behind One Night Stand and VIDEOVERSE, has released a brand-new teaser trailer for its upcoming visual novel, Ace & Aro: Heart-to-Heart, offering a closer look at its heartfelt conversations, colorful characters, and cozy mini-games.
Taking place inside the welcoming Ace & Aro Meetup, the game invites players into a vibrant barcade that welcomes everyone, whether they identify as asexual or aromantic or simply want to learn more about the a-spec community. Rather than focusing on romance, the narrative is centered on meaningful conversations, empathy, and building genuine connections with an eclectic cast of characters across the asexual and aromantic spectrums.
The new teaser highlights Kinmoku’s signature hand-drawn art style, expressive character animations, and intimate dialogue scenes. It also reveals several playable mini-games, including the rhythm-based Boogie Beat Revolution, digital jigsaw puzzles in Puzzle Pieces, and the trivia-inspired Queer Quiz, all designed to complement the game’s relaxed social atmosphere.
Players will also be able to personalize their identity, with dialogue and interactions reflecting the choices they make throughout their visit. The experience aims to create a space where players can freely explore different perspectives while forming lasting friendships.
Ace & Aro: Heart-to-Heart is coming soon to PC via Steam and itch.io, with support for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Kinmoku has also confirmed that a playable demo is currently in development.
