The David Moyes derby sees the Toffees welcome Man Utd to the Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon, as the hosts put their unbeaten start to the Premier League season on the line against Michael Carrick’s visitors. Bruno Fernandes scored a hat-trick last time out, as Ipswich were beaten 5-2, which lifted Man Utd into the top half of the table.

The United victory took their points tally under Michael Carrick to 42 – more than any other side during the same period. Carrick can now become only the sixth manager to win 45 points from his first 20 Premier League games during a single spell at a club. And Moyes, who oversaw a miserable spell at Old Trafford, will no doubt be keen to deny the former midfielder.

Moyes has overseen an encouraging start at Everton, with an opening win over Crystal Palace and the draw at Bournemouth. The Scot has lost 23 Premier League games against United, second only to Harry Redknapp's 24. Everton won 1-0 at Old Trafford last season but United triumphed by the same scoreline on their first visit to the Hill Dickinson Stadium. 40 min: Barry gets his head on a Garner delivery but can’t steer an effort on target. First bit of service for the lone Everton striker all afternoon.

36 min: Strong run from Rashford down the left and Tarkowski comes across to make a strong tackle, conceding a corner in the process which is overhit by Fernandes.

34 min: Johnson booked for a late challenge on Cunha. Completely wiped out the Brazilian.

Free-kick to United in a dangerous area, Fernandes and Maguire in discussion but the set-piece comes to nothing.

32 min: Awkward moment from Lammens as he flaps at a cross under pressure from Dewsbury-Hall. Replays show the Man United was being impeded by the Everton midfielder.

Would have been interesting had a goal been scored there.

30 min: Wicked cross from Rashford, whipped in at so much pace and it’s equally impressive defending from Branthwaite.

28 min: Huge roar from the Everton fans as space opens up for Rohl to push into. The ball eventually gets switched but Mykolenko’s cross is cleared by Martinez and then Johnson can’t force a corner.

24 min: Pressure is growing down Man Utd’s left-hand side as Shaw gets in once again, he looks for Fernandes in the box but Garner makes a timely tackle.

22 min: Man Utd corner causes some concern for Everton as the ball is cleared only to Dalot whose shot hits a team-mate before Barry cooly completes the clearance.

Visitors come forward again and Rashford gets past Rohl then sends the ball into the box where Dalot dummies it, leaving it for Cunha who shoots over.

20 min: Cunha with a strike that is charged down after good play from Tielemans. Dalot was free to the Brazilian’s right, should he have passed?
