Ace investor Vijay Kedia is known for his investment acumen and market insights and is widely followed by investors on Dalal Street. Explaining his investment rationale, Kedia once said, “One should scout for companies which have good management. Find very good, very honest management and see the product in which the management is going to outperform its peers and the economy. Invest in those companies for the next 10-15 years, and you cannot go wrong.”

He famously follows the SMILE approach for his portfolio investments — S stands for small in size, MI for medium in experience, L for large in aspiration, and E for extra-large market potential. Here are his top five stock holdings, according to Trendlyne data, and how they have performed.

Kedia held 1.3 lakh shares of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) manufacturer Neuland Laboratories, worth Rs 306 crore, at the end of Q1 FY27, according to Trendlyne data. The stock has rallied 500% in three years and 1,345% in five years. It has also gained more than 27% in the past month.

Kedia owned more than 58 lakh shares of three-wheeler maker Atul Auto, worth over Rs 282 crore, at the end of the June quarter. The stock has gained around 155% in five years, but has risen just over 3% in the past month.

Kedia held 10 lakh shares of colour solutions and specialised pigments maker Sudarshan Chemical, worth around Rs 124 crore, at the end of Q1 FY27. The stock has gained around 147% in three years and 109% in five years. It has risen around 19% in the past month and 31% so far in 2026.

The stock has jumped 417% in five years but has gained only marginally in the past month and is down 12% so far in 2026.

Kedia owned 9.65 lakh shares of Yatharth Hospital, worth around Rs 92 crore, at the end of Q1 FY27. The stock has gained more than 146% in three years, 15% in the past month and 43% so far in 2026.
