Olympian Oscar Pistorius \u2013 convicted of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp \u2013 works for a sound engineering company in South Africa, where he lives with his uncle.<\/p>\n
The disgraced Olympian has been on parole since 2024, despite receiving a 13-year prison sentence in 2015.<\/p>\n

Before his murder conviction, Pistorius was a well-known athlete who won six Paralympic gold medals. He also made history at London 2012, becoming the first double amputee to compete in the Olympics.<\/p>\n
Pistorius now lives in Waterkloof, the same Pretoria suburb where he killed Steenkamp.<\/p>\n
He is said to have a job at a local sound engineering company. The exact role is not known.<\/p>\n
Locals told the Daily Mail no one wanted to know much about him.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t want to know about him around here. He\u2019s like a ghost,\u201d a resident said.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s disappeared off the face of the Earth and most people are happy for it to stay like that.\u201d<\/p>\n
The source added that \u201capparently he has a job now, although no major company would go near him\u201d.<\/p>\n
Pistorius reportedly lives with his uncle Arnold and a mini poodle in a Pretoria mansion.<\/p>\n
The house includes a swimming pool, a gym, and security.<\/p>\n
The former Olympian was released on parole in January 2024. His parole conditions are set to remain in place until his sentence expires in 2029.<\/p>\n
His parole conditions include monitoring by authorities for the remainder of his sentence.<\/p>\n
