Hannah Einbinder just schooled Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones on the art of screaming.<\/p>\n
The actor got a lot of practice letting out her inner rage while filming her new movie \u201cTeenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma,\u201d and she was happy to share some tricks of the trade while appearing on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle Aug. 4.<\/p>\n
During the interview, Jenna complimented Einbinder on her screaming abilities, calling her a \u201cscream queen.\u201d<\/p>\n
To develop her screaming skills, Einbinder said she went to a Reiki healer.<\/p>\n
\u201cDid you know you were blocked there?\u201d Jenna asked.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t. I just feel like as a person, I experienced anger and immediately it turned to sadness. Like I wasn\u2019t able to really exercise my rage,\u201d Einbinder said.<\/p>\n
Sheinelle, who admitted that she\u2019s never really been able to scream, was curious to know if Einbinder thinks screaming helps release pent up anger.<\/p>\n
\u201cI do,\u201d Einbinder said. \u201cAnd I think if you find it hard to really scream, that\u2019s also information to perhaps kind of ask why you don\u2019t have access to that part of your voice.\u201d<\/p>\n
After undergoing vocal chord surgery, Sheinelle didn\u2019t attempt to scream, but Jenna was up for an exercise with Einbinder.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m perimenopausal so the rage is just (there),\u201d Jenna joked.<\/p>\n
Einbinder encouraged viewers to join in and instructed Jenna on how to let out her inner rage.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re gonna take a deep breath in and out, and then another deep breath in, and then we\u2019re gonna let it rock,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
When the time came to scream, Jenna began to join Einbinder, but was overshadowed by the actor\u2019s guttural sound. Sheinelle covered her ears to block out the noise.<\/p>\n
The co-hosts were left speechless. Sheinelle and a few crew members applauded Einbinder.<\/p>\n
\u201cFeels like I\u2019m the only one who did it,\u201d the actor teased. \u201cIt feels like y\u2019all were gonna do it with me.\u201d<\/p>\n
