Penny Lancaster was left fighting tears as she made an emotional confession about her rock star husband Rod Stewart. Loose Women panellist Penny, 55, was speaking to Davina McCall on her Begin Again podcast about the \u201cdisagreements\u201d she has with her 81-year-old hubby, when she opened up about one incident in the car that made her especially emotional.<\/p>\n
Penny said: \u201cRod and I, of course, like any couple, will have our disagreements. Sometimes he might say things to me that he might regret, or thinks, \u2018Oh, I could have chosen a better way of putting my message across\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remember there was one time we were in the car and we were taking the boys to school, and it was just all rushing around like you do in the morning. We\u2019re in the car on the way, and we were disagreeing about something, the boys were in the back.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd Rod just said, \u2018Stop the car!\u2019 I stopped the car. He turned around to the boys in the back and he said, \u2018You need to listen to this. Mummy, I\u2019m sorry\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe said, \u2018I shouldn\u2019t have spoken to your mother like that. We can have disagreements and we can say things that we don\u2019t really mean, but we never want to hurt that person really\u2019.<\/p>\n

Fans rushed to comment on the clip when it landed on Instagram, with one writing: \u201cBest thing that happened to Rod was meeting Penny, she\u2019s a darling.\u201d<\/p>\n
