\u200bApple said on \u200cMonday it briefly removed \u200bthe Telegram \u2060messaging app from its App Store after \u200ca review found content that \u200cviolated its \u200cguidelines \u201cprohibiting child \u2060sexual abuse \u2060material.\u201d<\/p>\n
The company said it restored the app \u200bafter \u201cthe developer promptly \u200cremoved the content and banned the user who \u200cposted it.\u201d<\/p>\n

An Apple spokesperson did \u200cnot respond to a request for further comment on the guidelines violation. Telegram \u200calso did not respond \u200bto a request for comment.<\/p>\n
