Police said her body was recovered following a search operation after the cloudburst caused a sudden surge of water in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: normal;text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Officials said that damage assessment is underway and further details are awaited.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: normal;text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">In south Kashmir, another cloudburst struck Batkoot area of Pahalgam in Anantnag district, triggering flash floods and creating panic among locals and tourists. Authorities said teams have been deployed to monitor the situation and assess the impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: normal;text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">The heavy rains also disrupted connectivity. Officials said the Aishmuqam&ndash;Pahalgam road has been blocked at Langnai Bridge due to flooding. In addition, the bridge at Langnai Batkoot has suffered damage because of the strong water current.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"line-height: normal;text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"EN-US\" style=\"font-size: 12.0pt\">Residents and travelers have been advised to avoid the affected areas until the situation is brought under control.
