Concerns are reportedly growing for Eamonn Holmes as he remains off-air following his health troubles.<\/p>\n
The Northern Irish broadcaster, 66, was hospitalised in April after a stroke, with bosses at GB News wishing him well for his recovery and requesting privacy while he underwent treatment.<\/p>\n
Understandably, Eamonn has been absent from his breakfast show for the past four months, a gig he took on in 2022, originally alongside Isabel Webster before co-host Ellie Costello took over.<\/p>\n
He\u2019s also been inactive on social media, his last post being a picture of his granddaughters shared shortly after his stroke, with Eamonn vowing to \u2018get well soon\u2019 in the caption.<\/p>\n
Now, however, it\u2019s claimed that Eamonn\u2019s future at GB News is uncertain, as TV bosses \u2018barely hear\u2019 from him, and it looks unlikely he\u2019ll return.<\/p>\n
As reported by the Daily Mail, GB News big wigs have had \u2018limited contact\u2019 with Eamonn since he went off, with his eldest son, Declan, in charge of his affairs for the time being.<\/p>\n
\u2018Everyone has started to accept Eamonn won\u2019t be coming back to do the same job as he did before,\u2019 an insider said.<\/p>\n
\u2018They have barely heard from him in months, and he isn\u2019t on social media anymore.<\/p>\n

The source added that, before Eamonn\u2019s stroke, he was \u2018going back and forth with lawyers\u2019 over his \u00a310million divorce from Ruth Langsford, from whom he split in May 2024 after 14 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

Eamonn is reportedly on a \u00a3450,000 salary at GB News, making him one of its highest-paid stars.<\/p>\n
But while he\u2019s gone, Ellie, 32, is taking the helm, alongside a variety of co-presenters.<\/p>\n
The publication adds that she has been instructed to \u2018keep the show on the road\u2019, although many feel the channel is now \u2018in limbo\u2019 without Eamonn.<\/p>\n
