Raaka Update: It's been two years since Allu Arjun was last seen on the big screen with Pushpa 2: The Rule and had set the box office on fire then. And while fans have been eagerly waiting to witness his magic once again, Allu Arjun is now making headlines for his upcoming movie. We are talking about Raaka is a sci-fi, fantasy drama which is helmed by Atlee and comes with a stellar cast of Deepikaa Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, Ramya Krishnan, Arshad Warsi, Yogi Babu etc.<\/p>\n
Interestingly, Raaka marks Allu Arjun's first collaboration with Atlee and Deepika Padukone and fans have been eagerly waiting to witness the fresh chemistry on the big screen. The movie was earlier titled as AA22xA6 which implied Allu Arjun's 22nd movie and Atlee's 6th directorial. As Allu Arjun's massive fan following has been eagerly waiting for Raaka, a recent update suggest that a Hollywood star is set to join the cast of the film.<\/p>\n
According to a report published in Mid Day, Will Smith has been approached for a key role in Raaka and his costumes have been finalised. "Will Smith's dates are being worked out. The overseas location will be locked depending on his availability. His costumes have been finalised, and there is immense excitement in the crew for the next leg," a source was quoted in Mid Day report<\/p>\n
The media reports further suggested that Will Smith will be seen playing the role of lead antagonist in Allu Arjun starrer. However, no official confirmation has been made in this regard. But if the reports turned out to be true, Raaka will mark Will Smith's big debut in Bollywood.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the makers had unveiled the first look post of Raaka on Allu Arjun's 44th birthday wherein the superstar was seen in a never seen before avatar sporting a bald look, while a furry, wolf-like hand with sharp claws partially covered his face. Made with a budget of over Rs 700cr, Raaka is expected to hit the theatres in December 2027.<\/p>\n
