{"id":4621,"date":"2026-08-03T15:32:35","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T15:32:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/futureknowledge.in\/?p=4621"},"modified":"2026-08-03T15:32:35","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T15:32:35","slug":"suspect-held-with-hand-grenade-anti-national-posters-in-pulwama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/futureknowledge.in\/?p=4621","title":{"rendered":"Suspect Held With Hand Grenade, Anti-National Posters In Pulwama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, Aug 3: <a href=\"https:\/\/thenorthlines.com\/category\/jammu-kashmir\/\">Security forces<\/a> foiled a suspected terror conspiracy in <a href=\"https:\/\/thenorthlines.com\/category\/jammu-kashmir\/\">Jammu and Kashmir<\/a>&#8216;s Pulwama district by arresting a man and recovering a hand grenade, three anti-national posters and a mobile phone from his possession, police said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The arrest was made during a joint naka checking operation conducted by Pulwama Police, Army&#8217;s 44 Rashtriya Rifles and 183 Battalion CRPF on the Drabgam-Pachar road.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, the joint naka party noticed a suspicious person approaching Pachar from Drabgam. On seeing the security personnel, the man allegedly tried to flee but was chased and apprehended near Fruit Mandi on Pachar Road.<\/p>\n<p>The accused was identified as Tousef Ahmad Dar, a resident of Drabgam Payeen, police said.<\/p>\n<p>A hand grenade, three <a href=\"https:\/\/thenorthlines.com\/category\/jammu-kashmir\/\">anti-national posters<\/a> and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession, they added.<\/p>\n<p>Following the recovery, an FIR was registered at Police Station Rajpora under Sections 7\/25 of the Arms Act and Sections 13, 18, 23 and 39 of the <a href=\"https:\/\/thenorthlines.com\/category\/jammu-kashmir\/\">Unlawful Activities<\/a> (Prevention) Act (UAPA).<\/p>\n<p>Police said an investigation has been launched to trace the source of the recovered material and determine whether the accused had any further links with <a href=\"https:\/\/thenorthlines.com\/category\/jammu-kashmir\/\">terror networks<\/a> or other individuals involved in the suspected conspiracy.
