All hell broke loose on the second day of Tupac Shakur\u2019s murder trial due to one witness\u2019s combative testimony.<\/p>\n
The trial of Duane \u2018Keffe\u00a0D\u2019 Davis, who is accused of being instrumental in the murder of\u00a0the American rapper and actor, has begun in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n
On September 7 1996, Tupac and\u00a0Marion \u2018Suge\u2019 Knight\u00a0were shot at while waiting at a red light; driver Knight survived, but\u00a0Shakur died\u00a0after a bullet entered his lung.<\/p>\n
Thirty years later Davis, 63, is on trial for murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.\u00a0He has denied the allegations.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, James \u2018Mob James\u2019 McDonald, an associate of Knight who worked in security at Club 662 the night Shakur was killed, became agitated as he appeared in court for a testimony which is being branded \u2018wild\u2019.<\/p>\n
McDonald was a former member of rival Blood street gang offshoot Mob Piru and enforcer at Knight\u2019s Death Row Records label, which represented Shakur.<\/p>\n
He insists he wasn\u2019t with Shakur when the shooting took place.<\/p>\n
McDonald claimed he was threatened with being held in contempt of court if he did not testify on Tuesday before repeatedly being asked by prosecutors who was responsible for Shakur\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
\u2018You\u2019re asking me something that wouldn\u2019t be good for him,\u2019 he said pointing towards Davis, before telling him: \u2018I don\u2019t want to send you to prison.\u2019<\/p>\n
Hesitant McDonald said he didn\u2019t want to answer several questions because it \u2018wouldn\u2019t be good\u2019 for Davis.<\/p>\n
At one point, he looked over at the former gang boss before saying: \u2018Talk to your lawyer man, this dude is tripping.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018I don\u2019t want to send him to prison, even though we don\u2019t like each other. I don\u2019t want to send you to prison,\u2019 he added.<\/p>\n
He then told the defence attorney: \u2018You ask me something I don\u2019t wanna talk about, you\u2019re gonna have a problem. Treat me as a hostile witness.<\/p>\n
\u2018You\u2019re not gonna talk to me and tell me as a grown man what I have to do up here. I\u2019m not gonna send him to prison, you are.\u2019<\/p>\n
