Anthropic has been preparing to give CEO Dario Amodei and \u200bother co-founders a class of stock with extra voting power \u200cto help insulate them from external shareholder pressure, \u200bthe Information reported on Tuesday, citing \u2060two people familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n
The company is also planning to maintain its existing body of non-shareholder trustees with a \u200cspecial class of stock to elect a majority of members to the company\u2019s board \u200cof directors, according to the report.<\/p>\n
The specifics of \u200cthe \u2060voting arrangements could not be learned, and the \u2060plans could still change, the report said.<\/p>\n
Anthropic did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.<\/p>\n
