Let's Marry Harry star Harry Jowsey silenced speculation that his wedding to Amber Mozo was fake by explaining why Netflix had to withhold the paperwork and where their marriage stands today.<\/p>\n
Harry Jowsey is clapping back at theories that his TV wedding was just for show.<\/p>\n
The 29-year-old, who signed up to find the love of his life by dating 20 different fianc\u00e9es on Let's Marry Harry, shut down speculation that his finale wedding to Amber Mozo was nothing more than a "fake marriage\u201d because it hasn\u2019t been made legal yet. \u00a0<\/p>\n
"Obviously, because it's a TV show, [production] said, 'We can't submit this until after the reunion.'" Jowsey explained of the missing marriage license that started the fan speculation in an Aug. 16 TikTok. "If they submitted it on that day, all the money, all the time, everything they invested in the show would've been for nothing because it would have been ruined," meaning his audience "wouldn't have watched the show\u201d if they found the public records ahead of time.<\/p>\n
And after quipping that his "silly little wombats" needed to shut up and listen to why Netflix had good reason to withhold the paperwork, the Too Hot to Handle alum teased that he and Mozo still have the option to go through with legalizing the nuptials or not.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As he put it, "You will see once the reunion is done and out there if it gets submitted, or it gets torn up."<\/p>\n
Admittedly, the podcaster himself didn't know much about the logistics of matrimony prior to filming the conclusion of his dating competition.<\/p>\n
"I've never been married before. I don't know how a wedding works, I don't know the order of things, I don't know shit," Jowsey confessed. "On the day of the wedding, I just thought you show up, say 'I do,' have a little smooch, and get the hell out of there and go on our honeymoon."<\/p>\n
Despite the formalities taking a little extra time to be legally married, the Wrong Paris actor felt his connection to Mozo from the start.<\/p>\n
"I had this very intimate moment with Amber," Jowsey told E! News in an exclusive interview ahead of the premiere. "She asked me to not tell anyone and just keep it between us. I had to respect that and be true to her."<\/p>\n
Though the Australian native called keeping his kiss with Mozo a secret from contestant Sam Kruse a "difficult spot to be put in," prioritizing his connection to Mozo is a decision that he "wouldn't change."\u00a0<\/p>\n
