The state maintains a significant lead over other regions, accounting for nearly half of the total software exports from STPI-registered units across the country. Maharashtra secured the second position with exports worth \u20b91,62,594.11 crore, while Telangana claimed the third spot with \u20b91,13,101.83 crore in software exports.<\/p>\n<p>The southern states demonstrate a strong presence in the software export sector, with Tamil Nadu contributing \u20b960,591.28 crore to the national tally. Among the northern states, Uttar Pradesh emerged as a significant player with exports valued at \u20b928,442.69 crore, followed closely by Haryana at \u20b926,885.28 crore. West Bengal recorded software exports of \u20b910,888.26 crore, establishing its position among the top seven states in this sector.<\/p>\n<p>Several states showed moderate performance in software exports through STPI units. Andhra Pradesh registered \u20b95,057.15 crore in exports, while Odisha and Kerala reported similar figures at \u20b93,492.42 crore and \u20b93,447.61 crore respectively. Gujarat contributed \u20b93,150.69 crore, and Rajasthan recorded \u20b92,072.05 crore in software exports. Punjab achieved \u20b91,623.02 crore, while Madhya Pradesh stood at \u20b9681.63 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The national capital Delhi registered software exports of \u20b9652.08 crore, while Chandigarh recorded \u20b9414.34 crore. Among the union territories and smaller states, Puducherry contributed \u20b9207.78 crore, and Meghalaya reported \u20b9147.54 crore. Goa, Chhattisgarh, and Uttarakhand registered exports of \u20b981.21 crore, \u20b975.93 crore, and \u20b956.68 crore respectively.
