The 2026 Logie Awards are\u00a0underway, with the stars of Australian television gathering for a night of celebration, including ABC's Lisa Millar, who is up for the Gold Logie.<\/p>\n
The red carpet has kicked off ahead of the award ceremony at 7:30pm AEST.<\/p>\n

He's gone on to say that he initially thought the Logies wasn't his place, given he usually hangs out at Australia Zoo.<\/p>\n
Irwin pointed out that he's more at home with venemous animals and predators, feeling constantly under threat…<\/p>\n
The Secret DNA of Us co-host Rae Johnson says attending the Logies tonight is a "pinch-myself, dream-come-true kind of moment"\u00a0and \u201cthe fact that get here while I\u2019ve got a show nominated it incredible!"<\/p>\n

As to whether she'll find any familial connections among the crowd, Johnson thinks there\u2019s a chance "Brad [Argent], our family history expert on the show, is related to Richard Wilkins".<\/p>\n
She adds, with a laugh: "But if we did a mass DNA testing of everyone at the Logies there would probably be a lot more connections than people realise."\u00a0<\/p>\n
Robert Irwin has opened the show, saying it's a "massive honour" to be up on the stage hosting the Logies.<\/p>\n
He says he grew up watching the ceremony, being allowed to stay up "way past my bedtime".<\/p>\n
