The filled Honda Center got a look at Frozen 3 \u2014 and let\u2019s just say, there is quite a lot in store.<\/p>\n
First of all, are those wedding bells, we hear? Indeed, they are! Kristen Bell confirmed at Disney\u2019s D23 entertainment showcase on Friday night that Anna will be marrying her \u201cmountain man\u201d Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) in the upcoming threequel, of course with her sister Elsa by her side.<\/p>\n
Speaking of, Idina Menzel was also on hand to tease the world of Frozen has gotten \u201ca little bit more mysterious\u201d since audiences were last in Arendelle. In fact, the story will quickly take these characters very far from their home to face another threat.<\/p>\n

Footage shown in the room featured Anna and Kristoff, on their wedding night, coming upon Elsa out on the dock studying a mysterious stone that appears to open a portal to a very snowy dimension, which Menzel called \u201ca frozen land more wild and dangerous than anything Elsa has ever created.\u201d<\/p>\n

When they step through what appears to be some sort of portal, they\u2019re quickly confronted by a new character \u2014 who clearly isn\u2019t looking to make nice. Audiences in the room didn\u2019t get a glimpse of the new character\u2019s face, but it appears to be a woman with short, black hair and a wicked cape.<\/p>\n

The leading ladies debuted some new music from the film. And it wouldn\u2019t be Frozen without Olaf. Josh Gad joined Bell and Menzel onstage to sing about the snowman\u2019s one true love, Samantha.<\/p>\n
Two years ago at D23, Disney showed off some concept art for the threequel in the $2.76 billion-grossing, and two-time Oscar-winning franchise.<\/p>\n
Filmmaker Jennifer Lee said back then: \u201cThere were a lot of questions coming out of\u00a0Frozen 2 \u2026 It will take two films to answer them.\u201d<\/p>\n

The art was of Elsa and Anna separately on horses heading toward a white palace in a summery horizon. Olaf was on the back of Anna\u2019s horse.\u00a0Specifically, Elsa was riding the water spirit Nokk. A mysterious horned shadow figure appeared in the river behind them. The implication was that the duo were journeying behind Arendelle and the Enchanted Forest to a new mystical realm, heading toward a floating palace which many have interpreted as a place where we\u2019ll learn more about Elsa\u2019s powers.<\/p>\n
