A Melbourne woman was pulling into her driveway when she was threatened by men, including one allegedly armed with a knife, before her Porsche was taken.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Victoria Police were called to Godfrey Street in Bentleigh at 9.20pm on Friday after reports of a carjacking.\u00a0<\/p>\n
While returning home and reversing into a driveway, the driver of the white Porsche was confronted by a group, one of them allegedly armed with a large kitchen knife.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police allege the group threatened the 44-year-old woman and demanded she hand over the keys to the Porsche.<\/p>\n
They then drove off in the luxury car as the owner fell to the ground, suffering a minor injury.<\/p>\n
Several police units reported they had spotted the Porsche driving in a dangerous manner and at speed across Melbourne's western and southern suburbs.<\/p>\n
At 2.10am on Saturday, officers saw the Porsche in Melbourne's east, allegedly speeding with its headlights off.<\/p>\n
When police attempted to intercept the car, the driver failed to pull over and led officers through the Melba Tunnel towards a road on the Eastern Freeway at Springvale Road which was closed due to roadworks.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At 2.10am on Saturday, after a brief car chase, the Porsche collided with a van<\/p>\n
Officers pulled back, but the stolen vehicle turned around just before the roadworks and drove into oncoming traffic on the wrong side of the road.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Porsche then collided with a van. The van driver, a Yarra Ranges man, 51, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The alleged driver of the Porsche, a 19-year-old Pakenham man, had to be extracted from the car before he was taken to hospital under police guard with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
