The stock touched a high of ₹1,736.10, its upper band, during the session and opened at ₹1,620. Total traded volume surged to 98.32 lakh shares with turnover of ₹1,664.76 crore for the day, reflecting heavy institutional and retail participation. The close brings the stock within striking distance of its all-time high of ₹1,749 set on its listing day in October 2025.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services covers the stock with a Buy rating and a target price of ₹1,580 (now below the current market price), flagged the results as a beat on EBITDA. The brokerage noted that EBITDA came in at ₹9.0 billion, approximately 8 per cent ahead of its estimate, with operating margins expanding 1.1 percentage points year-on-year to 12.5 per cent against an estimate of 11.8 per cent. The firm said it would review its price target following the management conference call scheduled for Friday afternoon. Revenue and adjusted PAT were broadly in line with estimates.

IRCTC shares down after Q1 results, PL Capital retains buy

Mayank Jain, Market Analyst at Share.Market by PhonePe, noted that the stock has entered a distinct bullish phase following the post-earnings rally, trading above all major moving averages including the 20-day, 50-day and 200-day lines. He added that the stock had successfully surpassed and sustained above its previous all-time high level from its listing day, signalling strong institutional buying interest. However, Jain cautioned that entering immediately after a sharp single-day jump presents a less optimal risk-to-reward setup, suggesting that a phase of consolidation or a temporary pullback toward support levels would offer better entry points for new buyers.

The quarter’s standout was the Home Entertainment segment, where EBIT jumped around 49 per cent year-on-year to ₹3.2 billion, a roughly 39 per cent beat over Motilal Oswal’s estimate, with margins expanding 3.4 percentage points to 19.1 per cent. The Home Appliances and Air Solutions segment, which accounts for the bulk of revenue at ₹55.8 billion, grew 14 per cent year-on-year with margins steady at 11.6 per cent.

Management guided for mid-teen revenue growth and an early double-digit EBITDA margin for FY27, supported by premiumisation, export ramp-up, and scaling of B2B and AMC businesses. The company also cited its Sri City manufacturing facility and deepening localisation as structural margin supports.

The stock, which listed in October 2025, is up nearly 15 per cent year-to-date and trades at a trailing P/E of 58.71x. Its free-float market cap stood at approximately ₹17,346 crore as of midday Friday.

Copyright© 2026, THG PUBLISHING PVT LTD. or its affiliated companies.
