Mark Wright has revealed he could be out of action for three months due to a series of injuries, including a back fracture.<\/p>\n
The reality star and presenter, 39, \u2018heard a pop\u2019 around five weeks ago but dismissed the pain as a muscle issue.<\/p>\n
However, things turned out to be much worse than he initially thought, as shown in an ultrasound.<\/p>\n
The ex-Towie personality now realises he\u2019s been \u2018training too hard\u2019, having also fractured his rib mere months ago.<\/p>\n
While the extent of his back fracture is yet to be determined, Mark has admitted that the situation is \u2018not looking good\u2019.<\/p>\n
Taking to Instagram on his page dedicated to golf, Mark began to his followers: You\u2019ve probably been thinking, \u201cWhere\u2019s he been? Where\u2019s the golf content?\u201d Well, remember that stress fracture I had on my rib, on the right side, a couple of months back?<\/p>\n
\u2018About five weeks ago I felt a pop, or a tear, in my back, and I just thought it was a muscular thing.<\/p>\n
\u2018But five weeks on, and it\u2019s not better, so I went for an ultrasound scan last night, and it looks like I\u2019ve got another fracture.\u2019<\/p>\n
He went on to say that he thinks he sustained both fractures \u2018at the same time\u2019, having been in pain since February, all the while he\u2019s still been golfing.<\/p>\n
\u2018So, I\u2019m here about to have a CT scan to see the results; it\u2019s not looking good,\u2019 he added in his video from the hospital.<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s been a devastating year, but that\u2019s what you get, I suppose, for training \u2013 doing too much, trying to get down too quick.\u2019<\/p>\n
Going forward, he understands that he needs to \u2018manage his body\u2019, and if his back fracture is \u2018deep\u2019, it could take 12 weeks until he\u2019s back to normal.<\/p>\n
Mark stated that he\u2019s \u2018absolutely gutted\u2019.<\/p>\n
In his caption, he shared additional details on how he\u2019s dealing with the setback of two stress fractures.<\/p>\n
