Max Alleyne will spend the 2026\/27 on loan with Championship side Burnley.<\/p>\n
The 21-year-old defender played during City's pre-season tour of Asia, but will now move to Turf Moor as the Clarets attempt to return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n
Alleyne joined Watford in a similar deal in August 2025, making 17 appearances for the Hornets and impressing during his time at Vicarage Road.<\/p>\n
He was recalled to City in January 2026 as the Blues suffered a defensive injury crisis, making his senior debut against Brighton.<\/p>\n
He scored his first senior goal in a 10-1 FA Cup win over Exeter City, and made seven appearances until our defensive issues eased.<\/p>\n
