Multiple locations in Delhi, including the High Court and Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, received bomb threats on Friday, a day ahead of Independence Day, The Hindu reported.<\/p>\n
The Delhi High Court received a threatening email with the subject line \u201cBomb Blast Delhi High Court @ 2:11PM\u201d. The email warned of a blast at the High Court premises at 2.11 pm on Saturday, followed by explosions at district courts in the national capital at 3.11pm, the newspaper reported.<\/p>\n
Threats were also received at Jamnagar House, the Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex, the district magistrate\u2019s office in Saket and the sub-divisional magistrate\u2019s office in Delhi Cantonment, ANI quoted the Delhi Fire Services as saying.<\/p>\n
Police, bomb disposal teams, fire department personnel, dog squads and other security agencies carried out searches at the sites, The Indian Express reported.<\/p>\n
Officials said nothing suspicious had been found so far.<\/p>\n
The threats come as security arrangements have been tightened across Delhi ahead of Independence Day on August 15.<\/p>\n
