Megame LLC has officially announced Coastless, a new survival crafting adventure coming to Steam that puts players in a world almost completely swallowed by mysterious black waters. Taking inspiration from survival games such as Raft and Don\u2019t Starve, it combines resource gathering, crafting, exploration, and base building with an unusual oceanic setting.<\/p>\n
Players will begin their journey aboard a battered raft, with only scattered islands and limited resources available across the endless sea. Survival will require catching fish, cooking food, managing supplies, and exploring procedurally generated islands for materials. Players can chop down trees, break rocks, craft tools, and build workstations while gradually expanding their raft into a proper floating home.<\/p>\n
One of the more interesting elements is a mysterious monster that travels alongside the player. By keeping the creature fed, players can harness the energy it produces to power their raft. With a steering wheel and sails installed, players can then set their own course and explore the unknown waters.<\/p>\n
The adventure also changes after sunset. While daytime provides an opportunity to explore islands and prepare for the next journey, nighttime forces players to conserve resources and remain cautious of dangers hiding in the darkness.<\/p>\n
