A limited number of tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. ET here.<\/p>\n<p>Grammy-winning producer Brad Cook (Waxahatchee, Bon Iver) will serve as bandleader and musical director of the show, which will feature celebrity guests and surprise music performances. While specific details about \u201cThe Goneies\u201d are limited, one might envision the \u201cLas Culturistas Culture Awards\u201d but straight \u2014 or, rather, for people whose Mariah Carey is Hamilton Leithauser.<\/p>\n<p>Presented by Talkhouse, \u201cThe Goneies\u201d marks the latest extension of the \u201cHow Long Gone\u201d brand, which includes the podcast with more than 1,000 episodes, live performances, parties and red carpets hosted by Black and Stewart. In February, the duo announced \u201cHow Long Gone Today,\u201d a video format of the show shot at a news-desk studio in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will be a seismic gathering of the greatest minds of our generation,\u201d said Black and Stewart in a statement. \u201cPeople who make music, post selfies, act, think they are funny, the media elite, and most of all look hot will all gather in one room in Manhattan to receive awards based on merit and high achievement from a podcast that they may or may not even listen to.
