Senior \u200bOpenAI executive Brad Lightcap said on Tuesday \u200che would leave the company to \u200bstart a new venture, as \u2060the ChatGPT maker gears up to go public amid growing AI demand.<\/p>\n
\u201cOver the last few \u200cmonths, I\u2019ve been focused on the next horizon and what would \u200cstand in the way of mission \u200csuccess. \u2060I believe there are a few \u2060important new things the world will need to get right as we enter this next period,\u201d \u200bLightcap said in \u200ca post on X.<\/p>\n
In response to Lightcap\u2019s post, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said he was \u201cexcited to work together on \u200cwhat\u2019s next.\u201d<\/p>\n
