Aubrey Plaza has welcomed her first child with partner Christopher Abbott.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The White Lotus actress, 42, was seen carrying her newborn baby in New York City last weekend, after watching the actor\u2019s final performance in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller\u2019s Death of a Salesman.\u00a0<\/p>\n
A source told TMZ that Aubrey gave birth to a daughter in the final week of July.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The new comes one year after Aubrey\u2019s estranged husband Jeff Baena took his own life in January 2025, aged 47.<\/p>\n
In April, Aubrey told how she couldn\u2019t wait to become a first-time mum, because parenting has always seemed \u2018so interesting\u2019.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on the SmartLess podcast, she said: \u2018There\u2019s a baby inside of me right now. Yes it\u2019s true\u2026 I know it\u2019s shocking isn\u2019t it.<\/p>\n
The Parks and Recreation star said she went to the doctor for an ultrasound scan before recording the podcast, and she had to take her dog to the vet on the same day for a similar procedure.<\/p>\n
She explained: \u2018Today was a big day I went to the doctors today, and my dog also went to the doctor. My dog is getting a scan right now and I got a scan earlier.<\/p>\n
\u2018She\u2019s also getting a scan on her stomach \u2026 I think she\u2019s ok. \u00a0She had to get an ultrasound on her stomach and I got an ultrasound on my stomach and there is a baby in there \u2026 It already has a cloak and a little hat \u2026 I think it\u2019s going to come out \u2026 \u2018<\/p>\n
When asked if she\u2019s excited about becoming a mother, Aubrey replied: \u2018I am [excited] I\u2019ve always wanted to see what that\u2019s all about you know. It seems so interesting that whole thing \u2026 \u2018<\/p>\n
Aubrey also revealed she\u2019s now living in New York and plans to raise her baby on America\u2019s East Coast.<\/p>\n

She said: \u2018I\u2019m back in New York \u2026 Yeah \u2026 [it\u2019s not] totally thought through but East Coast for sure. My family is in Philidephia and Delaware mainly \u2026 One of reasons I came back here was for that so I could get on a train and go home.\u2019<\/p>\n
Aubrey \u2013 who separated from Jeff in September 2024 \u2013 previously admitted every day had been a \u2018struggle\u2019 since her ex\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
When asked how she is doing by Amy Poehler on her Good Hang podcast, Aubrey said: \u2018Right in this very, very present moment, I feel happy to be with you.<\/p>\n
