A 39-year-old man died in hospital after his motorcycle collided with a utility pole along Riverside Drive East on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

Windsor police were called to the scene shortly after 3:30 a.m. and shut down the street from Buckingham Road to Thompson Boulevard.<\/p>\n
A preliminary investigation suggests that the man lost control of his motorcycle after travelling at a high rate of speed. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and passed away later that day.<\/p>\n
Police are asking witnesses to come forward with any information or video footage of the incident by contacting the Windsor Police Traffic Enforcement Unit at 519-255-6700, ext. 7032.<\/p>\n
