NEET PG 2026 Exam: NBEMS has announced major changes for NEET PG 2026. Under the new measures, Aadhaar-based authentication and identity verification will be implemented during the examination process. Apart from this, the old system of allotting examination centers has been abolished. This time there has also been an increase in registration.<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEET PG 2026 Exam Updates:<\/strong> Preparations are being made for NEET-PG 2026 for admission to MD, MS and PG diploma courses. This time a record number of applications have come. This time many changes have been made regarding the examination. NEET-UG examination is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) but the responsibility of conducting NEET-PG lies with the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).<\/p>\n

The board has reviewed its examination system following irregularities and concerns in other examinations. In this, potential risks have been assessed in collaboration with technical partners and relevant security agencies. The board says that examination security is the top priority and all necessary measures are being taken for this.<\/p>\n

CBT exam will be held, this time the number of applications increased by 12.56 percent
\nNEET PG 2026 exam will be held on August 30 in CBT mode in single shift. This time a total of 2.73 lakh applications have been received, which is 12.56 percent more than last year. 2.42 lakh candidates had applied in 2025. The process of payment matching is still going on after the application and there may be some change in the number of applications.<\/p>\n

This time the number of applications is much more than previous years. NEET-PG is the qualifying and ranking examination for admission to various MD, MS, PG diploma courses for the academic session 2026-27.<\/p>\n

This year, NBEMS has taken several important steps to further strengthen exam security. The most significant new provision is Aadhaar-based authentication. It has been implemented for identity verification at various stages of the exam process.<\/p>\n

In addition, strict SOPs are being implemented at exam centers. Monitoring at exam centers has been increased.<\/p>\n

Better coordination has been established with test delivery partners and law enforcement agencies as needed.<\/p>\n

The Board states that the order of questions on each candidate’s computer is randomized by the system, reducing the possibility of cheating or organized unfair means.<\/p>\n

Every candidate receives the same question paper, only the order of the questions varies, thus ensuring complete fairness of evaluation.<\/p>\n

NBEMS conducts review, reaches exam centers early<\/strong><\/p>\n

NBEMS has reviewed its entire exam system. The paper is conducted in computer-based test mode. Experts say the CBT system is more secure than traditional paper-based exams because it eliminates the need for mass printing, transportation, storage, and distribution of question papers to thousands of centers. Questions are delivered to exam centers via secure digital means. The board has advised candidates to rely only on official information and reach exam centers early.<\/p>\n
