Even the dog wouldn\u2019t look at me,\u201d said Driver, who was lying on her side and wearing a neck brace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got into a really bad car accident a few days ago with my friend Ben, and we somehow walked out of it. Well, we didn\u2019t walk out of it. We crawled out of it, but we did get out of it alive,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGood Will Hunting\u201d star said she and her friend were not at fault. She said the two of them were \u201cdriving on a country road in the middle of France\u201d when they slammed into another vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA car didn\u2019t stop at an intersection and was going at speed, and we just T-boned it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She assured fans she is OK before adding she had a sprained neck and is dealing with the emotional aftermath of the scary incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really in shock and sort of cry all the time,\u201d Driver said.<\/p>\n<p>Driver, who also revealed she had never been in an accident before, added that it was \u201castonishing\u201d she and her friend were not completely crushed upon impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m a Minnie Driver, pun intended,\u201d she said. \u201cI need to celebrate the car that saved us, because we\u2019ve got families and people who love us. And I am so grateful to be alive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She thanked Kia, the manufacturer of the car they were driving, and included a picture of the crumpled vehicle at the end of the video.<\/p>\n<p>In the caption, Driver provided more details about the accident. She expressed her gratitude to a good samaritan that pulled over to help the pair before an ambulance arrived.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpecial mention to the car who slowed down took in the scene and drove off without stopping. I guess this is the Dao of the world, the light and the dark,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Driver said she continues to replay the accident in her mind as she processes what happened.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWeeping too, feels good and helpful. Thank you to my friends, my family, all the people at work and especially my friend Ben and his family.
