Taiwan investigates top PCB maker as US cracks down on transshipments

TAIPEI — Taiwanese prosecutors said they are investigating Unimicron, a key supplier to Nvidia and Intel, over allegations that the leading printed circuit board maker falsely relabeled China-made parts as originating in Taiwan, potentially violating laws against origin laundering.
