Most of the time, restoring a supercar is a job for independent shops, but Bugatti prefers to keep things in the family. Enter La Maison Pur Sang, the brand’s own restoration HQ in Molsheim, France, where the magic happens under the same roof as the original build.
La Maison Pur Sang’s latest project is none other than the Bugatti Veyron itself – one of the most recognizable hypercars on the planet. This one-off restoration keeps the Veyron’s soul intact, but adds just enough new tricks to let it hang with the latest Bugattis.
Dubbed the La Maison Pur Sang Veyron 20 Years, this build is a rolling tribute to the car that kicked off the modern hypercar era in 2005. Instead of messing with the Veyron’s iconic shape, Bugatti went for subtle tweaks that polish the original without losing its edge.
The first thing you’ll notice is the paint. This Veyron rocks Rouge Rembrandt, a shade borrowed from the Tourbillon, teamed up with Petrol Blue straight from the Bugatti Chiron’s playbook. The result is a Veyron that looks right at home in this day and age, yet remains unmistakably itself.
But Bugatti didn’t stop at the color. The wheels are all-new, inspired by the original Machiavelli design but beefed up to 20 inches up front and 21 at the back. That means this Veyron can now wear Chiron-sized tires, giving it a modern stance without messing up those classic lines.
There’s more: new 3D mesh inserts for the air intakes at the front, side, and rear, sharpening up the Veyron’s look and adding a bit of technical flair.
Inside, it’s still pure Veyron, just with a few handcrafted twists. Magnolia leather wraps the cabin, with custom Mocassin stitching on the wheel and shifter. There’s a special ’20 Years of Veyron’ badge between the seats, and the center console gets a Côte de Genève finish – a nod to Swiss watchmaking that you almost never see on a car this size.
Bugatti wisely left the heart of the Veyron alone. The original engineering and performance are untouched, with the focus on keeping everything running perfectly and adding just enough modern touches to keep things interesting. As a bonus, Bugatti has rolled out a Veyron configurator just for La Maison Pur Sang customers. Owners can now pick their favorite finishes, materials, and options straight from the factory menu.
How much does all this cost? Bugatti isn’t saying, and honestly, we’re not surprised. Every La Maison Pur Sang project is a custom job, so the price tag depends on just how wild you want to get.
If you’re lucky enough to have a Veyron in your garage, this is probably the most exclusive way to keep your hypercar looking – and feeling – like it just rolled out of Molsheim.
