Consumer appliance maker Atomberg Technologies has filed DRHP with SEBI for an IPO comprising a fresh issue of up to ₹450 crore and an OFS.

Consumer appliances maker Atomberg Technologies has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise funds through an initial public offering (IPO), as the company looks to expand its brand, research and development (R&D) capabilities and strengthen its balance sheet.

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to ₹450 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of 76.54 million equity shares. The company plans to use ₹90 crore of the net proceeds to repay or prepay certain borrowings, ₹150 crore for brand awareness and performance marketing, and ₹100 crore towards R&D. The remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Founded by Manoj Meena in 2012 and joined by Sibabrata Das as co-founder in 2013, Atomberg makes consumer appliances including fans, mixer grinders, water purifiers and cold-pressed juicers. It also manufactures proprietary components, such as motors and controllers, for enterprise customers, including Voltas, Godrej, and Blue Star, through its subsidiary, Atomberg Innovations.

Atomberg claims the highest market share in India’s premium fan segment, defined as fans with an average selling price above ₹3,500, among scaled consumer appliance companies. According to Redseer, the company had a 46.08% share by cumulative sales value in the premium fans segment in FY26.

The company’s revenue from operations rose 34.8% to ₹1,293.77 crore in FY26 from ₹959.51 crore in FY25. However, adjusted EBITDA declined to ₹37.12 crore from ₹51.35 crore during the same period. Restated loss narrowed to ₹148.88 crore in FY26 from ₹199.08 crore in FY24.

Atomberg has been increasing its presence across both online and offline channels. Revenue from online channels rose to ₹456.45 crore in FY26 from ₹234.51 crore in FY24, while offline revenue increased to ₹820.11 crore from ₹562.47 crore during the period.

As of March 31, 2026, the company had around 626 distributors and direct dealers and 46,932 retail touchpoints across nearly 1,600 cities and towns. Its service network covered more than 18,000 pincodes.

Tier 2 and smaller cities accounted for 49.57% of its offline consumer appliance revenue in FY26, ahead of metropolitan cities at 30.91% and Tier 1 cities at 19.52%.

Atomberg has also made R&D a key part of its growth strategy. It had 254 engineers, accounting for 25.32% of its permanent workforce, as of March 2026. Its R&D expenditure stood at ₹86.79 crore in FY26, or 6.71% of revenue.

The company operates two leased manufacturing facilities in Pune and is expanding into adjacent categories such as water purification and motorised food preparation.

ICICI Securities, Avendus Capital and IIFL Capital Services are the bankers to the issue.
