In a series of key decisions in Telangana, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has decided to remove Minister Konda Surekha, Minister for Forests, from the State Cabinet with immediate effect.
A recommendation to this effect has been sent to the Governor, according to a release.

The Chief Minister also approved several changes to key government bodies and appointments.
The government cancelled the appointment of G Chinna Reddy as Vice-Chairman of the Telangana State Planning Board. In his place, Gadwal Vijayalakshmi has been appointed as the Vice-Chairperson of the Planning Board.
The government also approved the appointment of Nerella Sharada as Chairperson of the Telangana State Women’s Commission.
In another significant appointment, former Rajya Sabha MP G. Sudharani has been approved as the Chairperson of the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority.
