A viral X post has captured what one user called a "peak Bengaluru moment". The user described going flat-hunting, only to find the intended flat unavailable.
Instead, he toured another flat within the same building. That flat happened to belong to the founders of an AI startup. The post has gone viral, garnering mixed responses from social media users.
According to the X profile, the user is a software engineer and IIT Kharagpur alumnus. The profile also shows that he previously worked at Microsoft.
“Peak Bengaluru moment. Yesterday, I went flat hunting. The guy who was moving out was not there, so we went to another flat in the same building to see the interior. Those guys were founders and building legal AI,” the user wrote.
Several users speculated the entire story might have been fabricated. One dismissed it outright as a "nice cooked-up story". One user said it was one of the “top 10 things that never happened”.
“They are lame. Legal startups in India will be f*cked by the government,” commented one user.
Not everyone dismissed the story outright, though scepticism clearly dominated. Some users simply enjoyed the anecdote as classic Bengaluru humour.
Several users also requested more specific information about the company involved. One user, apparently job-seeking, asked for a direct connection instead. Another wanted the exact company name to research it personally.
