The theory has gained fresh traction during the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, where all eyes are on Hamilton as he looks to build on his first Ferrari victory in Barcelona earlier this summer.
Hamilton's move to Ferrari for 2026 was met with both excitement and scepticism. The Italian team has long carried a reputation among fans for misfortune, from high-profile mechanical failures to questionable strategy calls that have seen potential victories slip away.
For a driver of Hamilton's calibre, joining Ferrari brought the weight of the team's history alongside enormous expectations.
The 'Kardashian curse' is a long-running internet conspiracy theory suggesting that athletes or celebrities who become romantically involved with a member of the Kardashian family suffer career setbacks, injuries or personal difficulties.
