Coronation Street star Junade Khan has revealed his link to his new co-star as they started working together for the first time on the long-running show.
Fans of the ITV soap, which is filmed in Salford, will know that the actor recently made an arrival on the cobbles as Idris Nazir, who was said to be the cousin of long-standing character Alya Nazir.
But he has since dropped a family bombshell and confirmed to Alya that he's her uncle. He revealed that Yasmeen Nazir's husband, Sharif, had an affair with his mother, and therefore he's her late father Kal's half-brother.
Meanwhile, Corrie fans have also recently seen the return of Sienna Milburn, the former mentor of trainee paramedic, Asha Alahan, and now her love interest.
Taking to Instagram, Junade revealed that he and Charlotte Tyree, who plays Sienna, share a personal link as they attended the colleage in Sheffield once upon a time.
Sharing a picture of the pair on the famous cobbles, outside the iconic Rovers Return, Junade told his followers: "Me and @tyreehairdo both went to Norton College in Sheffield and are both on Corrie atm."

He added; "So we want to say a big thank you to our amazing drama teacher in Sheffield, Jo Beadle, for inspiring us and to keep believing that anything is possible. You are a brilliant teacher and we are so thankful Jo."
Their fellow castmate Vicky Myers, who plays DS Lisa Connor-Swain in the programme, was quick to respond to the post, writing: "Love this! Absolutely adore @tyreehairdo."
Some Corrie fans may actually recall that Junade appeared in the show before, for two episodes back in September 2008 as Saj, a short-term boyfriend of Rosie Webster. Yet he has told how he thought about quitting acting before bagging his latest Corrie role.
He had been working as a bus driver for eight years, while doing occasional small acting jobs. Even a role in Game of Thrones failed to kickstart his career in the way he hoped.
