Olympian Oscar Pistorius – convicted of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp – works for a sound engineering company in South Africa, where he lives with his uncle.
The disgraced Olympian has been on parole since 2024, despite receiving a 13-year prison sentence in 2015.

times through a locked bathroom door in 2013. She was 29.
Before his murder conviction, Pistorius was a well-known athlete who won six Paralympic gold medals. He also made history at London 2012, becoming the first double amputee to compete in the Olympics.
Pistorius now lives in Waterkloof, the same Pretoria suburb where he killed Steenkamp.
He is said to have a job at a local sound engineering company. The exact role is not known.
Locals told the Daily Mail no one wanted to know much about him.
“We don’t want to know about him around here. He’s like a ghost,” a resident said.
“He’s disappeared off the face of the Earth and most people are happy for it to stay like that.”
The source added that “apparently he has a job now, although no major company would go near him”.
Pistorius reportedly lives with his uncle Arnold and a mini poodle in a Pretoria mansion.
The house includes a swimming pool, a gym, and security.
The former Olympian was released on parole in January 2024. His parole conditions are set to remain in place until his sentence expires in 2029.
His parole conditions include monitoring by authorities for the remainder of his sentence.
