“The Voice” is switching things up again!
Following Season 29’s “The Voice: Battle of Champions,” it appears the NBC singing competition is undergoing another makeover for 2027.
On Aug. 4, it was revealed that NBC has started production for “The Voice: Celebrity,” where stars ranging from actors, musicians, influencers and more will compete to become the first “Voice” celebrity champion.
“The Voice: Celebrity” will feature new and returning coaches, as well as a new host.
Before the revamped edition airs, Season 30 of “The Voice” — with returning coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson and newcomers Queen Latifah and country music singer Riley Green — will premiere on Sept. 21.

Giving host Carson Daly a break for this celebrity edition is Keke Palmer. The multi-hyphenate will take the helm, bringing her charisma and energy to “The Voice” stage.
“The Voice: Celebrity” will have Joe Jonas making his coaching debut this season. He will be joined by Queen Latifah and Riley Green, who will be returning to their red chairs after participating in Season 30.
The celebrities that will be part of the inaugural “The Voice: Celebrity” will be revealed at a later time.
However, NBC shared that the stars competing will be actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians and reality television stars.
“The Voice: Celebrity” will follow the same format as the original “The Voice.” The contestants will participate in the blind auditions, hoping for a coach to turn their chair.
They will then be placed into teams and mentored by their coaches to try and make it to the next round as viewers vote for their favorites.
A premiere date has yet to be announced, but expect to see “The Voice: Celebrity” in 2027.
