There’s a possibility that we may never see Taylor Frankie Paul’s season of The Bachelorette, but that doesn’t mean she won’t tell us who won. In a clip from the upcoming season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Paul discusses with her castmates what happened at the Bachelor mansion and the similarities between the winner and her ex, Dakota Mortensen. Jessi Draper gets right to the point, asking, “So you had sex in the Fantasy Suites. Was there a part of you that was like, ‘He looks like Dakota’?” Paul herself did not make the connection, replying, “I didn’t start thinking that until people said it around me. I actually did not see that the night I met him at all. They have the same initials. They’re both from Idaho. It’s so weird.” All roads lead to Doug Mason, who also admitted the coincidence was mutual. “My ex kind of looked like her,’” he said on a Bachelor Nation podcast in April. “It goes back to the same thing; I don’t know the guy. I only know what I’ve heard about him, which I don’t really love… I hate to be compared to somebody who has treated Taylor like that.”

Paul admits Mason proposed to her on the show, and they left the Bachelor Mansion engaged, but old habits got in the way. Mortensen kept texting her to ask when she’d be home from filming. She continues, “I don’t know how it led to it, but he came over.” No one is shocked, and Mikayla Matthews brings her back to reality, adding, “I think I know how that happened.”
