A virtual program to be presented by the Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable will examine how identity and social factors can shape survivors' experiences with domestic and sexual violence, according to a community announcement.
The event, to be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28., will feature the Massachusetts Women of Color Network. It will be led by Kishana Osei, executive director of the Massachusetts Women of Color Network and an overnight residential counselor at Waltham-based REACH Beyond Domestic Violence.
Participants will discuss how race, gender, class, immigration status, disability, sexuality and community reputation can influence a survivor's ability to seek safety and support, according to the announcement.

Osei brings more than 15 years of experience in advocacy, direct services for survivors, housing advocacy and program development, according to the announcement. She identifies as a survivor of domestic violence and other injustices, and says those experiences helped inspire a career focused on anti-violence work, healing and support for survivors.
