The Pennsylvania teen accused of murdering his soccer star girlfriend left behind a huge trove of nightmarish evidence, including a bag full of black knives, according to prosecutors.
Royce Moser, 18, was charged in the fatal stabbing of Karoline Heintz, also 18, after her body was found in the back of her Jeep near the California Borough Library around 12.30am on August 20, according to a criminal complaint reviewed by the Daily Mail.
Her boyfriend is accused of coercing Heintz to his home before getting angry during an argument in the car and stabbing her, according to the complaint.
Royce then allegedly called his mother, Rachel Moser, and shared what he had done. They have not yet entered pleas.
Rachel, 56, has since been charged after cops said she helped her son dispose of Heintz's body after he stabbed her in the chest and dragged her into the back of the car, according to the complaint.
The mother and son didn't initially talk to police about the incident but soon confessed to their role in the killing, prosecutors alleged on Tuesday during a preliminary hearing. It is unclear how long the couple had been together.
Prosecutors also presented six witnesses and 32 pieces of evidence that they say prove the pair worked as a team to kill and try to get rid of Heintz's body.
Among the pieces of evidence, there were several images of black knives that appeared to belong to a kitchen set, photos obtained by the Daily Mail showed.
One of the knives was seen poking out of the top of a large black trash bag as smaller serrated weapons surrounded it.
