Tiger Woods has entered a plea agreement on a reckless driving charge after a car crash near his Florida home in March, according to reports.
The 15-time major winner was arrested and spent eight hours in jail before being bailed after the Land Rover he was driving rolled over in a collision with a pick-up truck towing a trailer.
Woods had previously entered a written plea of not guilty through his lawyers to charges including driving under the influence, property damage and refusing to submit to testing.
Appearing at Martin County Courthouse on Wednesday morning, the 50-year-old reportedly agreed to the reduced charge. Judge Darren Steele ordered Woods’ driving licence to be suspended for five years and imposed a fine of 1,000 US Dollars.
The crash happened on March 27 on South Beach Road on Jupiter Island, close to Woods’ home. Investigators alleged that he crossed double solid lines while attempting to overtake a pick-up truck pulling a trailer, before his SUV struck the trailer and overturned onto its side.

A breath test reportedly showed no alcohol in Woods’ system, although authorities said he declined to provide a urine sample. Deputies also reported signs of possible impairment and said two painkillers were found in his pocket.
Neither Woods nor the other driver was injured, according to officials. A police report said the collision caused around $5,000 of damage to the truck.
