Defender Warren O'Hora has joined Leicester from Hibernian for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old Irishman made 85 appearances for Hibs after arriving from MK Dons in the summer of 2024 and captained the side on a number of occasions.

O'Hora had expressed a desire to return to England and links up again with Leicester boss Russell Martin, who he played under in Milton Keynes.

Hibs head coach David Gray said: "Firstly, I would like to thank Warren for everything he has done for Hibernian FC. He constantly set the standards in training, and he is a true professional both on and off the pitch.

"We're sad to see him go but, ultimately, we understand that this is a life-changing move for him and his young family. We wish him all the best of luck with the next chapter of his career moving forward."

Hibs have moved quickly to secure a replacement, bringing in Serbian international Marko Ivezic from German side Holstein Kiel, subject to international clearance and visa approval.

The 24-year-old has agreed a three-year deal, and Gray added: "We're delighted to bring Marko into the building and get the deal over the line.

"He brings a really good combination of both physical defensive qualities and experience – having played in the Bundesliga and represented his country."
