A remarkable summer transfer window has slammed shut after a typically frantic Deadline Day.
The biggest deal of the day – and among the biggest of the entire summer – is Enzo Fernandez’s move from Chelsea to Manchester City in a deal worth north of £120million.
It came a day after Bradley Barcola was unveiled by Liverpool.
The Blues, meanwhile, have not been able sign Lamine Camara as a replacement for the Argentina international after Monaco pulled out of a deal at the last minute.
Arsenal failed to add to their attack – despite interest in Julian Alvarez and Malick Fofana – but did manage to ship out plenty to fringe players, including the sales of Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus on permanent transfers.
Tottenham spent the best part of half a billion, including the headline £100million signing of Sandro Tonali, and added Chelsea pair Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo to their ranks, while Kevin Danso joined Sunderland on a loan-to-buy deal.
