Albion have seen two defenders head to the Championship.
Igor Julio has signed for Burnley on a full transfer while Eiran Cashin has rejoined his old club Derby County on a season-long loan.
Neither appeared to have a role to play for the Seagulls in the new season.
Igor has signed a three-year deal at Turf Moor as boss Nicky Hayen looks for defensive steel.
The former Fiorentina powerhouse was popular with Albion fans but did play a part in Fabian Hurzeler's plans and has gone north for £3 million plus add-ons.
Igor, 28, said: "Once I heard of the interest and spoke to the manager, I wanted to get the move done and I'm ready for this next chapter now in my career."
Albion sporting director Mike Cave added: "Igor has been a good professional throughout his time here.
"He played regularly during our first season in European competition.
"On behalf of all at the club, I would like to thank him for his service and wish him well for the future."
Cashin, like Igor, played only fleetingly in pre-season friendlies.
He joins Derby, the club from whom he signed for the Seagulls 18 months ago.
Cashin impressed at Blackburn last season and also trained well this summer.
Cave said: "Eiran is going to a club he knows well.
"That will help hm settle quickly and we look forward to seeing hm progress over the coming season."
