Scotland made short work of chasing down the Dutch total after a wet morning in Stirling

Scotland levelled their one-day international series with the Netherlands at 1-1 after a thumping nine-wicket victory in a rain-affected match in Stirling.
Sarah Bryce, captaining the side in the absence of her sister Kathyrn, led the way with an unbeaten 70 as the hosts chased down their target of 130 in just over half of their allotted 32 overs, in a game which was originally scheduled for Sunday but fell foul of the weather.
The Dutch had enjoyed a 58-run win in Glasgow on Friday and this was another one-sided contest.
Darcy Carter made an early breakthrough, taking the wickets of Netherlands openers Phebe Molkenboer and Sanya Khurana, who had piled on more than 150 in last week's encounter.
Abtaha Maqsood also took two quick wickets to leave the visitors reeling on 39-4.
Maqsood struck again but Babette de Leede made 58 before being run out, while Caroline de Lange added 20 on the way to their total of 129-9.
Scotland lost Maryam Faisal after four balls but Carter (33 not out) and Bryce made sure of a comprehensive success.
Wicketkeeper Bryce, who took two catches, settled the match with her 11th four, while the Dutch bowlers sent down 17 wides in 16 overs.
While it may have been a bruising defeat, the visitors do have cause for celebration since the completed match was enough to regain their ODI ranking and avoid a significant drop in funding.
The teams will meet again on Tuesday at the same venue to decide the series.
