Lexus has added a new hybrid sedan to its Indian range. The new ES 350h was launched in Bengaluru on August 30, 2026, with prices starting at Rs 66.10 lakh. It is made in India and is offered in Exquisite and Luxury variants.

The ES has been an important Lexus model for many years. Its latest version is larger, gets a fresh design and uses a new hybrid setup. The ES 350h is also the first model in Lexus India’s next-generation electrified range, which includes both hybrid and electric models.

The ES 350h uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a lithium-ion battery and a new eAxle. The petrol engine produces 139kW and 237Nm, while the permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor develops 119.1kW.

Lexus has given the sedan a self-charging hybrid system. It does not need to be plugged in for charging. ARAI has certified the ES 350h with a fuel efficiency figure of 25.22kmpl.

The new sedan measures 5,145mm long, 1,920mm wide and 1,575mm tall. Its wheelbase is 2,950mm. It rides on 235/55 R19 tyres.

The design gets Lexus’ new styling theme with Twin L Signature Lamps at the front and Rear L Signature Lamps at the back. Electronic door handles with Safe Exit Assist are also offered.

Customers can choose from White Nova, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Chrome, Graphite Black, SOU and Sonic Copper.

The cabin gets a Tazuna cockpit layout with a fully digital instrument cluster. A 14-inch high-definition touchscreen runs the latest Lexus Interface.

One unusual feature is the Responsive Hidden Switches. Physical controls are placed within the interior surface, keeping the switches easy to use.

The larger body also provides more cabin space. Lexus has worked on ride comfort and quietness. The seats and layout are designed to make long journeys easier and more comfortable for passengers on city roads and highways alike.

The Luxury variant also gets Drive Monitor. The Lexus Connected app can show fuel level and driving range. It can also control engine start, door locks, windows, sliding roof and cabin climate functions remotely.

Lexus offers five years of roadside assistance and an eight-year or 2,00,000km warranty for the vehicle and hybrid battery. The Assured Buy Back Programme offers a guaranteed future residual value of up to 65 per cent.

Lexus Luxury Care packages cover three years/40,000km to eight years/1,60,000km.

With local production, hybrid power and a long list of features, the new ES 350h gives Lexus buyers another premium sedan choice. Its 25.22kmpl figure should also make it interesting for buyers who want luxury without giving up fuel economy.
